The following people have really helped me with all the research done within
Scotland (in alphabetical order):
-
Behringen, M.
He has done new measurements of the azimuths at Rudh' An Dunain. He
has been helped by Karen Scholz, Corinne DeMaagd and Lizzy Altenroxel,
who really acted as three professional assistants.
-
Curtis, R. and M.
Their exhibition concerning Callanish is wonderful (location: New Park,
Callanish, Isle of Lewis, PA869DZ, tel: + 44 851 621277). I had some nice
talks (in the Scottish rain;-) about alignments and stones.
-
Dearborn, D.
Brought me into contact with MacKie, E.
-
Hodnett, S.
She is assistant custodian from Historic
Scotland at Maeshowe, and helped me during my May 1997 visit.
-
Jansman, J.
My girl friend and assistant during this research. She made also most
of the photographs for the WWW pages.
-
MacKie, E.
He wrote the recommendation letter for me towards Historic Scotland.
-
Moncrieff, M.
She is the custodian from Historic
Scotland at Maeshowe, and she thus helped me much during the evening
hours when measuring at Maeshowe. She was a great help and had a lot of
humor!
-
Pringle, D.
Principle inspector of Ancient Monuments of Historic
Scotland. He provided me the admission letter for Maeshowe.
-
Schwartz, D.
Helped with a lot of ideas and also financially he helped (he donated
the sighting compass, the hand level and the laser pointer). He also wrote
a recommendation letter towards Historic Scotland.
-
Tait, C.
He made time measurements and photographs near the winter solstice
at Maeshowe on December 22, 1996.
