The results of my stereo questionnaire

Introduction

I conducted a questionnaire, mainly to get an idea about the usage of freeviewing (looking with parallel of crossed eye methods at stereo pictures and thus without tools accept for the pictures/slides themselves, the pictures can be on a paper or a computer display) and how that changes over time (question 3 to 7). I later added a few questions about what hints respondents can provide to stimulate stereo viewing (questions 10 to 11).
Last but not least a few questions were asked about the software in use (questions 8 and 9).
After the questionnaire I realized that I missed two other freeviewing methods:
Definition of terms: I use on this web site the term picture for the 2D representation that is on paper/screen/display. The picture is a 2D representation of the real/virtual 3D world. A stereo pair consists of two pictures. What one experiences with the brain, I call the image, this image is in this case a 3D image as a result of the stereo pair.

I would like to thank everyone who took part in this questionnaire and in the question/answers/ideas resulting from it.
