Example of e-mail query to JPL


Send an e-mail with the below body/content/template. Remember to look at:

Remark: The apparent altitude of the centre of the object (Elev_(r-appr)) in R_T_S_ONLY='GEO' results of JPL is not equal to ELEV_CUT because;
  1. in R_T_S_ONLY='GEO' the ELEV_CUT is the rise and set apparent altitude of the upper rim of the object and
  2. JPL determines set/rise times using fixed interval steps of 1 minute.
Cut and paste the below including the !$$SOF and !$$EOF lines into an e-mail.
